The compensation analysis features of PayEval allow the user to flexibly examine employee payrolls, as well as a way that parallels an OFCCP desk audit. Employment groups can be examined individually or within the same analysis using a basic pay comparison or more complicated regression method.

Compensation Data Requirements

  • Database should include only one record per employee.
  • All information should be as complete as possible with each record including all the relevant factors needed for a proper analysis. This would include: (unique) employee identification, pay/salary, race/ethnicity, gender, birth date, etc.

Below are the minimum number of data fields that PayEval requires in order to provide effective analysis results. These vary in each practice area, but for Compensation and Pay Changes, include:

  • Employee Identification (empid)
  • Last Pay (annsalhire)
  • Current or Proposed Pay (annsal)
  • Gender (gender)
  • Race / Ethnicity (race)
  • Job Group (jobgrp)
